Booking the Cathedral

Your Cathedral Nelson is first and foremost a place of worship but it is also a perfect venue for many types of performances. As a beautiful space with fantastic acoustics, it is ideal for choral and chamber music events.

We host a number of concerts throughout the year ranging from orchestras, choirs, bands, and jazz and the renowned generous acoustics are favoured by musicians of international acclaim.

 

Opportunities exist throughout the year to host a lunchtime or evening concert.

Your Cathedral boasts a magnificent organ, grand piano, flexible staging solutions and an audience capacity of 350 (300 during Christmas Tree Festival).
