A fun-loving group of older adults who enjoy singing and performing together. With all kinds of musical backgrounds, they sing pop songs from today and yesteryear and love making music as a team.

NBS Nelson City Brass and the Nelson Cathedral Choir bring you the 2025 edition of one of the most popular concerts in Nelson’s fabulous festive season. The band and choir – brimming with outstanding soloists – present traditional favourites alongside modern offerings.

Directed by Zoe Dee and accompanied on the piano by Anne Shearer, the choir will sing a variety of pieces taken from their performances this year, as well as some Christmas music.

A group from the Cathedral Choir will perform a selection of Christmas-focused music under the direction of Nigel Weeks, the Cathedral’s Director of Music.

Chroma invites you to a true celebration of choral beauty and Christmas spirit. This special 15th Anniversary concert features an inspiring a cappella programme of 20th and 21st century choral gems by Poulenc, Chilcott, Whitacre, Rachmaninoff, and Tavener. Under the direction of Pete Rainey.

A local a cappella chorus singing four-part barbershop harmony across various musical styles. Tasmonics enjoy performing at community events and recently competed nationally in Christchurch.

A friendly and energetic group who meet at Age Concern. Playing ukuleles, guitars, tambourines, & kazoos while singing a fun mix of songs—from timeless Christmas classics to country tunes.

Marg teaches young students music. She has two ready to be part of the Festival.
